PartSpace sets course for international growth: Florian Matt appointed Enterprise Sales Director

PartSpace brings Florian Matt, an experienced sales expert, into its management team to drive the international expansion of its AI-powered software solution for technical procurement. The appointment follows the recently announced financing of up to €13 million from Armira Growth and Bayern Kapital and marks an important milestone in the company's growth strategy. With data-driven sales and a focus on large industrial customers, PartSpace aims to establish its solution worldwide and tap into new markets.
In his new role, Florian Matt is responsible for the sales and marketing strategy for international markets and the entire DACH region. The aim is to drive forward market expansion in the industry in a targeted manner, acquire new major customers, and structurally scale the go-to-market process - from customer acquisition to contract conclusion. His responsibilities also include establishing a highly efficient sales organization and working closely with Customer Success Management and Product Development.
The new role of Enterprise Sales Director is part of a larger scaling plan: with fresh capital and a growing team, PartSpace is preparing for international expansion. Customers such as Siemens, Krones, and Horsch are already working with the software solution.
Matt brings more than 18 years of international sales experience in the manufacturing industry, including roles as Sales Director at Protolabs, 247TailorSteel, and Hilti. Most recently, Matt was Sales Director for Central Europe, where he was responsible for sales of €25 million and led cross-functional teams. A graduate in technology management, he has repeatedly demonstrated how technically sophisticated products can be successfully scaled in complex markets. His core competencies include data-driven key account management, targeted market segmentation, and the close integration of engineering and sales.
“PartSpace connects two worlds that are often thought of as separate: engineering and purchasing. That's exactly where my focus lies,” says Florian Matt. “What particularly fascinates me about the PartSpace AI software platform is its ability to derive concrete, actionable decisions from complex design data. I see my role as not just selling this solution, but working with our customers to establish a new standard in technical purchasing.”
“With Florian Matt, we are gaining a leader who not only knows how to build complex sales organizations, but also understands how engineering logic and purchasing processes interact in industry,” says Sebastian Freund, COO and co-founder of PartSpace. “With a clear focus on our target group and technological depth, we want to usher in the next phase of growth together.”
