Using 3D models, technical drawings and business data, we build models that develop an understanding of components and their manufacturing methods and can estimate the costs and cost drivers of the components.

Your Responsibilities
- You evaluate various models ("state of the art") for text recognition and text extraction from image files (technical drawings)
- In addition to text, you extract various relevant symbols from the drawing
- You interpret the text to find described materials or keywords (e.g. "painted") on the drawings
- You put keywords found into context (e.g. "component must not be painted")
- You implement and test your models
Your Qualifications
- You are motivated and want to shape the area of "text recognition and text interpretation"
- You have experience in developing models with Python
- You have knowledge of contextual embeddings
- You are familiar with the basics of text extraction from image files
- You are familiar with the basics of image processing (e.g. OpenCV)
